This consultancy solves clients’ business and communication challenges with smart creative thinking and great design. It already has a strong global presence but it wants to make the 3 Middle Eastern studios a more powerful and coherent force in the region. It has offices in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Riyadh, with a focus in that order. We are open to candidates from all over the region.
As a Creative Director, you will:
- Review, interrogate and invigorate the current creative offering
- Work with senior partners across the studios to knit together and accelerate the creative offer
- Use your lateral and strategic creative thinking to bring smart ideas to your team and clients
- Spot the creative and strategic potential in a brief
- Know how to size up a pipeline and make smart decisions to focus on the right stuff
- Leading a small creative team and working your local contacts to get creative made (brand identities, films, campaigns, websites, animations, information design, design for communication).
You will be:
- A highly strategic, lateral thinker who can write well
- In the Middle East currently or have worked there
- Confident, direct but diplomatic
- Largely hands off, but you have a really strong sense of what great looks like and what is needed to get there
- Pitching and presenting to very senior clients, so can work a room and get attention
- Holding an advantage if you have a good understanding of business language that include key financial moments in the calendar, but solid b2b communications expertise will get you there too.
